- 4 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup avocado oil
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unfed sourdough starter discard
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar to sprinkle on top before baking
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips optional
Directions:Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees, and line your pan with parchment paper, or grease it well.In an electric mixer, or regular mixing bowl, add 4 ripe mashed bananas.Mix in eggs, vanilla, oil, and sugar.From there, mix in the baking soda, salt and flour. Once all the ingredients are combined, it is ready to bake. Or, if you want to add chocolate chips or nuts, now is the time to mix them in.Pour mixture into your pan and bake for 60 minutes.Slice and enjoy warm with butter, or store in a bag for up to 3 days. Freeze for up to 3 months.
